My Story

Two decades of sitting with people at their most honest.

Over twenty years of mentoring, an international life, and formal psychology study — this is the background behind In Your Head coaching.

Where it began.

Long before I called myself a coach, I was the person people came to. In workplaces, in friendships, in communities across three continents — I found myself consistently in the role of the one who listened without judgment and asked the question that shifted something.

That pattern wasn't accidental. I was drawn to it. And over time, I began to understand that what I was doing had a name, a structure, and a body of knowledge behind it worth taking seriously.

A life lived across cultures.

I have lived and worked in multiple countries, navigating different cultural norms, professional environments, and ways of understanding the self. That experience gave me something no single-country upbringing could: a genuine appreciation for how much of what we think is 'just how people are' is actually learned, contextual, and changeable.

It also gave me a deep respect for the courage it takes to examine your own patterns — especially when those patterns were formed in environments very different from the one you now inhabit.

Formal study in psychology.

I didn't step into therapeutic work through a sudden career pivot or a weekend online course. It grew organically from what I had been doing for over two decades—sitting with people during critical moments, asking the questions others overlook, and witnessing what happens when someone finally feels deeply heard and constructively challenged.

That academic grounding sits underneath every session I run. It means the work is not just intuitive — it is informed.

How I work.

I don't believe in generic frameworks applied to specific people. Every client I work with is navigating a particular set of circumstances, with a particular history, and a particular way of making meaning. The work has to fit that.

What I bring is a combination of deep listening, precise questioning, and a willingness to name what I observe — including things the client may not have said out loud yet. That combination tends to move things faster than years of talking around the edges.

I work with people who are ready to be honest with themselves. Not perfect — honest.

The most important conversations are the ones you haven't been able to have with yourself yet.

That's what we make space for. Not performance, not positivity for its own sake — but the kind of clarity that actually changes how you move through your life.
